Overview

Events are automated WhatsApp messages sent to guests at different stages.

To use Events, your PMS must be connected to Visito. This integration allows Visito to send automated messages using guest numbers collected during the reservation process from OTAs or your reservation engine.

Event types
  1. Booking Confirmation: Sent immediately after a reservation is made.
  2. Before Arrival: Sent 2 days before the guest’s check-in date.
  3. During Stay: Sent after check-in. (Additional cost + requires activation: email emi@visitoai.com).
  4. After Departure: Sent 1 day after check-out.

Getting started
  1. Connect your channels: Ensure WhatsApp is active.
  2. Connect your PMS to Visito:  Integrations.
  3. Request Event Activation (Optional): Email emi@visitoai.com.
  4. Activate Events: Toggle the Status button to enable Events.

Steps to Edit:

1. Log in to your Visito account: Visito Login.

2. Go to the Events page.

3. Select an Event:

Click “View Event” for the one you want to edit.

4. Modify the Template:

Click “Modify Template.”

5. Edit the Message:

  • Languages: Modify messages in both English and Spanish.
  • Tags: Use pre-configured tags to include guest details like name, reservation ID, etc.
  • Body: Write your message. Add tags, emojis, or any custom text.
  • Preview: Check how the message will appear to guests


6. Submit Changes:

Click “Submit Changes” to save your edits.
